Here are some of the most frequently asked questions, however if your question isn't answered here please get in touch through the contact page.
Q. How do I know the fabric is sun protective?
A. Both the swimwear and sun protective clothing fabrics have been tested by ARPANSA, an Australia Government body that tests and then gives a rating to fabrics for their sun protective qualities/ability. Both have a rating of 50+ UPF which is excellent because it blocks more than 97.5% of solar ultraviolet radiation. This prevents sunburn, skin damage and ultimately reduces your risk of skin cancer. For more info on ARPANSA and what they do head to their website.
Q. What do I do if I receive my order and it doesn't fit?

Q. Are your designs hot to wear like other sun protective clothing?
A. The designs that have been specifically developed to reduce this problem as much as possible. The best design for coolness is the sun ponchos, these are open at the bottom while still providing coverage. All the sun tops can be worn open and have varying length sleeves, so you can regulate not just the coverage but also allow more airflow. The skirts are super cool and flowing to wear and the pants are loose legged.
The fabric is woven so it's more like a crepe style fabric and it's not at all like slippery Lycra, making it flow around the body rather than cling. As a result of this our designs tend not to be as hot as other styles of sun protective clothing.
Q. Can I swim in the clothing?
A. You sure can!! All the fabrics are not just 50+ rated but also chlorine proof so swimming in the pool won't harm your outfit. They're a high performance lycra so they dry fast and retain their shape even when wet.
Q. What do you mean the fabric is 'eco-aware'?
A. Eco-aware simply means that the fabrics are either 100% regenerated and sustainably produced or that they are produced by a manufacturer that is changing the way they produce fabrics that are working toward a clean green future. For more information visit our partnerships and giving back page.
